SUPPORTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND BEYOND

Rockhouse Productions provides services to many successful fundraising events as they endeavor to bring special musical experiences to communities nationwide, while raising funds for important causes. In 1981 Bobby and Karen Vee, shortly after relocating their family from Los Angeles to central Minnesota, started a fundraiser for Cathedral High School in St. Cloud called “ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK".  Over a  24-year run they brought the likes of Dick Clark,  Little Richard, Frankie Avalon, The Supremes and many others to an event that of course included a performance Bobby and family annually and raised millions of dollars for the school. Continuing this tradition, in 2006 Rockhouse started "JOETOWN ROCKS" annual summer parish festival fundraiser that continues to draw upwards of 20,000 people to their little town of 7,000 each year.

In memory of their father who passed away in 2016 from Alzheimer’s Disease, Jeff and Tommy produce another annual fundraising event called "R4A - ROCK FOR ALZHEIMER'S" every September in St. Joseph, MN.  In addition to raising money and awareness for the fight against Alzheimer’s, a portion of the proceeds from this event go to “The Bobby & Karen Vee Scholarship for Youth Arts & Music in Central MN.”

One of the beneficiaries of this scholarship is the St. Cloud area  "SCHOOL OF ROCK".  In 2004,  Jeff & Tommy were approached with the idea of a “School Of Rock” summer camp for kids in their community.  They proceeded to recruit some of the best players in the area and 14 years later the program is still going strong.  School of Rock, a premier music and confidence building experience for young rockers in central Minnesota, has cranked out no less than 140 bands over the years from girls and boys aged 11-18.  The final night concert at the Paramount Theater in St. Cloud, MN, is an annual sell out and a favorite night of the year for the gang at Rockhouse Productions!
